My name is Tim and I was born in the city of Maribor, Slovenia. Travel has always been my passion in life since I can remember. I was lucky enough to have had opportunity to see more than most people out there. At young age I traveled with my family to mostly neighbouring countries like Croatia, Austria, Italy. During my college time I expanded my travel horizons to more distant countries but stayed in Europe. In 2014 I got a job with Emirates Airlines as a flight attendant. I finally got the real opportunity to see the world and get paid for it at the same time. I got to visit places I never thought I would. More than three years of my life, consisted of being abroad for most of the time. International flight attendant lifestyle can be really exhausting and has deep impact on one's life. At this point I decided it was time for me to come back to Europe and I moved back to my home country Slovenia. My career in aviation continued with regional airline Adria Airways. One of the many perks of legacy airline flight attendants are generous travel benefits like standby travel and discounts on goods and services around the world. We all know that things in life don't always go according to plan. I lost my job with the airline in 2019 when company went bankrupt. In 2020 I managed to find a new job with a low cost airline Wizz Air and now I reside in Vienna, Austria. Current Coronavirus crisis prevents me from traveling but I look forward to the time when I can explore new countries, meet new people and learn about new cultures around the world yet again.
